INNOMAR has been developing and producing innovative maritime electronics and software for 20 years. The main product is a series of parametric sediment echo sounders (INNOMAR SES-2000), which are used to record and visualise sediment structures and embedded objects in sea and water beds.

Important areas of application for sediment echo sounders

• the preparation and monitoring of dredging projects,
• geological and geophysical investigations,
• the mapping of soft sediments in shipping lanes,
• route planning for pipeline and cable routes in the oil and offshore industry and in the growing offshore wind sector,
• subsoil investigations, e.g. for offshore wind turbines.
