Kraken Power GmbH

ENITECH SubSea GmbH (or "ENISEA"), which was founded in spring 2016, acquired the marine technology assets of the insolvent ENITECH Energietechnik-Elektronik GmbH ("ENITECH") in May 2017. By changing our name to Kraken Power GmbH, we joined the innovative team at Kraken Sonar Inc. Canada. The majority of ENITECH's maritime employees, with their valuable expertise, now work at Kraken Power GmbH.

Our company specialises in the development, manufacture and sale of pressure-neutral drive, power supply and control technology for underwater robots. We also offer our customers advice in the field of pressure-neutral technology, as well as the development and manufacture of pressure-neutral system solutions.

Under the technical leadership of Dr Carl Thiede, we have been working on pressure-neutral technologies and products for the subsea market for a number of years. We are internationally recognised for our specialised deep-sea components and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and cable-guided vehicles (ROVs). Our company's unique pressure-neutral encapsulation technology enables the propulsion, control and power supply to function to a depth of 6,000 metres without the need for a costly pressurised enclosure. This technology results in solutions that are less expensive, more compact, lighter, safer and less susceptible to underwater corrosion and bio-fouling.
